Shocking to See

Shocking to again see large amounts of rubbish dumped at the New Squares recycling centre. Much of the rubbish dumped is not even recycling.

The same site was the just after Christmas oiled high with rubbish like this and most of it is items that should be in the bin or taken to the skips.

I am really concerned that if this continues Eden Council will do like they have at other recycling centre's in the local area and just close then and fence the site off to prevent fly tipping.

There is no question a the recycling bins have been well used and need more frequent emptying but much of the rubbish dumped is non recycling material and has just simply been left for others to clear at cost to council tax payers in the area.

At a time when we have many residents taking positive action to clear litter from our communities to see this sort of action is frankly sickening and a slap in the face for those who are taking action to clean our community of litter.
