9/11 we remember and will never forget those lost to the evil unleashed that United the world against it.

At 1:46pm today UK time will mark 20 years since the start of the horrific events and loss of life that unfolded in America on 9/11 as the first American Airlines Flight 11 struck the North tower of the World Trade Centre in New York.

With the the second plane hitting the south tower at 2.03pm UK time and the plane hitting the Pentagon in Washington at 2.37pm.

Less than 30 minutes later a final flight crashed at 3.03pm UK time in Pennsylvania as brave passengers on the flight knowing the events that had unfolded in New York and Washington overpowered the terrorists who had take their flight and brought the plane down in a field to prevent greater loss of life had the terrorists reached their intended target for the flight.

Today 20 years ago the world stood in shock but stood United at the horror, destruction and loss of life.

I recall just after 1:46pm driving along Greystoke road from the dentist to my in-laws home on Mile Lane as the news broke at a jet crashing into the first tower and within minutes the report changed to jet attack in America.

I will never forget the chill that ran through me as it became evident something was happening that would change the world.

My family and I watched the TV news as the second plane hit and news of the other flights.

The world did change on 9/11 and as we remember the lives of the souls who were taken that day by the evil unleashed by those who carried out the attacks.

Let us remember how this attack was an attack that United the world to stand up and take the fight to those who would threaten our way of life through acts of terror and the countries and regime that gave them safe haven to act.

Our brave and heroic armed forces from around the world have for 20years worked together to ensured that those who carried out and allowed the events of 9/11 were delivered swift justice form their actions and the tyrannical regime that allowed and supported the attacks was removed and freedom and democracy delivered to the people of Afghanistan as a symbol of something positive to come out of the horror of 9/11 as a legacy of hope and peace for all who died innocently on 9/11.

The events we have seen unfold in Afghanistan in recent weeks allowed to happen by the hand of western leaders of the very nations who 20 years ago to remove and never forget the actions of those who have taken back what we liberated is a long shadow cast on the 

Memories of those lost we remember today.

I will stand silent and remember as each plane went down at 1:46pm at 2:03pm at 2:37pm and 3:03pm and I will reflect on the world we again face through the inaction of those who now lead our nations who once United to fight the terrors unleashed by those who carried of the events of 9/11

The world is once again now facing the dangers we faced 20years ago as the evils we extinguished reignites and grows across the land we liberated and set free.
