Abuse of policy and powers to play Dirty Politics

The use of powers for political gains and the breach of human rights.

I have just been informed that today an assessment panel is meeting to consider taking further action on a code of conduct complaint made against me by a serving Cumbria County Council Councillor and cabinet member.

The complaint was made after I commented on a post on Facebook a few months ago on a newspaper article about a county council cabinet meeting where the councillor had made some limp comment about the wording of a report on the county hand along of Covid19.

This county council meeting was no anything I am part of I am not a county councillor and was commenting as an individual my personal observations and thoughts on the article covered in the local press on the county councillors’ issue with a word in a report.

I said the councillor concerned talked “shit”.

Eden council have been informed that the Pershing of this code of conduct complaint against me for expressing my personal opinion and views about a serving councillor in an authority I am not part of and was commenting as an individual my own views and opinions is by the actions of Eden council and infringement of Article 10 of the Human Rights act.

As Eden council are today convenient an assessment panel to consider further action on this code of conduct complaint made for totally political point scoring.

I must consider that Eden council are now infringing Article 10 of the Human Rights act and will take legal action to ensure the breaching of that act is challenged fully.

Article 10 protects your right to hold your own opinions

Article 10 protects your right to hold your own opinions and to express them freely without government interference.

This includes the right to express your views aloud (for example through public protest and demonstrations) or through:

published articles, books or leaflets

television or radio broadcasting

works of art

the internet and social media

The law also protects your freedom to receive information from other people by, for example, being part of an audience or reading a magazine.

The usage of the code of conduct process to political point score is dirty politics in action.

Based on how much I challenge and hold to account Eden Council and the county council on issues to represent and stand up for the community.

I do not believe that an unbiased judgment by a kangaroo court convened without any right for me to address them directly can be made on this issue.

A warning to those involved in this blatantly political attack on me.
